Seminars
During the year KI has seminars, held by many Master Instructors and Black Belts around the state. This is to further broaden the students martial arts knowledge and to gain exposure from other instructors on specific areas.
KI Lewisville Family Dinners
Three times each year, we all take time to meet at a local restaurant and have a meal together. This gives the students and instructors the opportunity to socialize and get to know each other even better. Join us in 2009 on April 16, June 18 and August 13. See the yearly schedule for locations and times

Tournament Competition
Karate International students encouraged to compete in all American Martial Artists Association (AMAA) state tournaments. For higher ranks, competing is a requirement. This will teach students pride, integrity, and self confidence by getting up in front of an audience. All students under black belt will earn an award. Karate International hosts 2- 3 of these state tournaments per year. We strongly urge you to show your dedication by supporting these tournaments.
2009 Tournaments are March 20 and September 25.
Christmas Parties
Our Christmas Party is our biggest event of the year. We bring all of our dojos together to eat, play games, enjoy balloon animals and fun. Santa comes and visits the karate kids. We give out awards to our most dedicated and helpful students and parents.
